The Wash Process
Dirty car? Just go to your local car wash! Right? No. Absolutely not. The naked eye is unable to see what these automated/self serve car washes hide. Brushes and sponges that have never been washed or cleaned. These brushes are just deeply embedding contaminants into your car's clear-coat. Sure, your car will look clean, but you won't be able to see the real damage done. Swirl marks, scratches, and most importantly, car washes are notorious for taking off license plates and antennas as well! They don't care if they ruin your car, they're just worried about the next car coming through. It's a bottomless money pit that does nothing to protect your second biggest investment!

Here at D Squared, we start off by examining your vehicle for any sort of areas that would need extra attention, i.e., tar, bugs, bird droppings, industrial fallout. We then begin to clean your wheels. We have tons of different brushes to reach into the cracks and crevices depending on the type of rims we're cleaning. The wheels have their own bucket as well! No brake dust or tire grime will ever be in contact with your paint! We then move onto cleaning your actual car with what's called the '2 Bucket Method'. This is a process where every time our wash mitt touches the car we get rid of any contaminants picked up in our 'Rinse Bucket'. All of our buckets have grit guards at the bottom to catch all of the dirt that we're removing from your vehicle to reduce any chance of swirl marks or scratching.
When it comes to drying your vehicle, there are certain towels made to do the job. No, it's not a regular bath towel. Using the wrong type of towel, you create micro-swirling and micro-scratching that is not visible to your eye, but over time it will dull out the color of your paint. We like to use very high GSM towels and compressed air to make sure the vehicle is completely dry and there are no water spots left behind!
