Paint Protection

So, you go through the whole process of washing, decontaminating, correcting the paint, and now what? You have to put a layer of protection on to protect all of the work you just did! There are so many options when it comes to protecting your paint. We'll break it down for you nice and easily.

Waxes are a product from nature. They provide the least amount of protection but the aesthetics they provide are amazing. They create a deep, warm, vibrant look to your car. They make your car feel 'as smooth as butter'. They fill in little imperfections in your paint and overall make your car look as if it's glowing. Waxes are the most common type of protection and also one of the most visually appealing.

The next 'level' of protection would be a paint sealant. Paint sealants are man made, they're engineered to do their job, and do their job right. Since they're man made and not naturally occurring, they're able to outperform waxes on a durability level. The visuals aren't as good as a wax, but a paint sealant is made to last. They may not be as aesthetically pleasing as waxes, but don't be fooled, sealants will still make your car have a nice deep gloss.

Last, but certainly not least, ceramic coatings. Ceramic coatings take home the trophy for most durable and most visually appealing. Ceramic coatings can be thought of as a clear coat for your clear coat. It's like putting a layer of unbreakable glass on top of your car. This is easily one of the smartest ways to protect your investment. Instead of providing months of durability, ceramic coatings are known to provide YEARS of protection, yes, years. The only downside to these coatings is the application time and cure time. Both are a pretty lengthy process, but it's all worth it in the end.
